Publications (2) - Carnacki the Ghost of William Hope Hodgson

Last year, I have already published in eBook form: the complete adventures of the first ghost hunters of literary history. For a limited time and only for a limited audience, they were available. So I've decided this year that it finally publish in book form in BoD, as was "The great anime Strategy Guide". The nine episodes are translated by me. This is the first complete publication in German .

Here's the blurb:

" Carnacki, the ghost inventor
The adventures of the classic ghost hunter completely in German

ghost hunters, ghost whisperer or Vampirpfähler - all illustrious forms of earning a living, for which one searches the job information center in vain for a solution . In novels, comics, movies and PC games, however, the ghost hunters have now become the major service providers. For the first time appeared occult detectives in the late 19 Century in the literature. The most important and most fascinating of these classic ghost hunter Thomas Carnacki, a creation of the English writer William Hope Hodgson. Carnacki is not reflected around with vampires and werewolves. It employs the disembodied horror from other dimensions: whistling rooms, dark spirits and giant horses, pigs grunting monster. His arms are as unique as his enemies: bizarre apparatus, electric pentagrams, glowing vacuum tubes ... and of course his extensive knowledge, which dissolves the boundaries between technology and spiritualism. All this makes nine Carnackis adventure to a tip for people who use the Unusual and away from love.
HP Lovecraft wrote some eighty years ago: At times of immense power in'(...) suggests secrecy worlds and beings below the surface of everyday life, William Hope Hodgson's work, which is now far less known than it deserves'.
expressed or modern, Carnacki the makings of a cult has today. Seldom a detective of the occult has experienced durchgeknalltere adventure
